Nothing can separate you from the love of God

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:35, 37-39)

You are Chosen, a Royal Priesthood, Holy – Set Apart, God’s Treasured Possession

So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’…Your heavenly Father knows that you need them. (Matthew 6:30-32)

Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy (Jude 24)

By His stripes You Are Healed

Surely, he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. You are SAVED

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved… for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:9-10, 13)

Because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:2)

You are FREE indeed

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. (2 Corinthians 3:17)

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. (John 8:36)

You were brought for a hefty price

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your bodies. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

You are a significant part of the body of Christ

There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.

Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good…All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines. (1 Corinthians 12:4-7,11)

Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ…Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. (1 Coin 12:12, 27)

From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work. (Ephesians 4:16)

You are worth dying for

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

Just for kicks, we’ll borrow the blessings of God for the obedient Israelites.

If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the LORD your God:

  • You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country.
  • The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.
  • Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed.
  • You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.
  • The LORD will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.
  • The LORD will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The LORD your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.
  • The LORD will establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the LORD your God and walk in obedience to him.
  • Then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the LORD, and they will fear you.
  • The LORD will grant you abundant prosperity—in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground—in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you.
  • The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none.
  • The LORD will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the LORD your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom. (Deuteronomy 28:1-13)
This selection of scripture a reminder that we can trust God and we can trust ourselves as His children to hear Him when he speak when were are intent on listening. We can trust Him because he created us and knows us and loves us. We can trust because His word says He speaks to us and leads us and we can trust that we hear and recognize his voice and are safe to follow Him.
My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. (John 10:27)
The sheep listen to His voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When He has brought out all his own, He goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow Him because they know his voice. But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice.” (John 10:3-5)
You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; You perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue You, Lord, know it completely. (Psalm 139:1-4)

Where can I go from your Spirit?

Where can I flee from your presence?

If I go up to the heavens, you are there;

If I make my bed in the depths, you are there.

If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. (Psalm 139:7-10)

For He knows how we are formed, He remembers that we are dust. (Psalm 103:14)
All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. (Psalm 139:16b)
For your ways are in full view of the Lord, and he examines all your paths. (Proverbs 5:21)

The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. (KJV) Psalm 37:23

The LORD makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand.(NIV)

The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the LORD holds them by the hand.(NLT)

(Psalm 37:23-24)

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you. (Psalm 32:8)

Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”

(Isaiah 30:21)

How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you. (Psalm 139:17-18)
I will praise the LORD, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. (Psalm 16:7)

I, even I, have spoken; yes, I have called him. I will bring him, and he will succeed in his mission.

“Come near me and listen to this:…This is what the Lord says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:

“I am the Lord your God,

who teaches you what is best for you,

who directs you in the way you should go. (Isaiah 48:15, 17+18)

“From now on I will tell you of new things, of hidden things unknown to you. They are created now, and not long ago; you have not heard of them before today. So you cannot say, ‘Yes, I knew of them.’ You have neither heard nor understood; from of old your ears have not been open. (Isaiah 48:6-8)
This is what the Lord says, he who made the earth, the Lord who formed it and established it—the Lord is his name: Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’ (Jeremiah 33:2-3

However, as it is written:

“What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” —the things God has prepared for those who love him— these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit.

The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.

For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.

What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us.

This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words…

The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments, for,

“Who has known the mind of the Lord

so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

(1Corinthians 2:9-16)

And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God. (Romans 8:27)
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. (Romans 8:26)
But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit.(1 Corinthians 6:17)
We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.” (2 Chronicles 20:12)

Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:8,9)

Many are the woes of the wicked, but the Lord’s unfailing love

surrounds the one who trusts in him. (Psalm 32:10)

Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:12-13)
“Speak, for your servant is listening.” (1 Samuel 3:10)

The path of the righteous is level; you, the Upright One, make the way of the righteous smooth.

Yes, Lord, walking in the way of your laws, we wait for you; your name and renown are the desire of our hearts. (Isaiah 26:7-8)

For the LORD God is a sun and shield;

The LORD bestows favor and honor;

No good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.

Lord Almighty, blessed is the one who trusts in you. (Psalm 85:11-12)

“Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake?

If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

(Matthew 7:9-11)

You have searched me, Lord, and you know me.

You know when I sit and when I rise;

You perceive my thoughts from afar.

You discern my going out and my lying down;

You are familiar with all my ways.

Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely.

You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me. (Psalm 139:1-5)

As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him; (Psalm 103:13)
For He knows how we are formed, He remembers that we are dust. (Psalm 103:14)
So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them (v.31-32)
For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. (Psalm 139:13)

My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.

Your eyes saw my unformed body;

All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. (Psalm 139:15-16)

But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice.” (John 10:3-5)

What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. (1 Corinthians 2:12)

Come and hear, all you who fear God; let me tell you what he has done for me.

I cried out to him with my mouth; His praise was on my tongue.
